History

  On 30 th October 1979, 35 eminent personalities of different classifications assembled at the ALIND Conference Hall at 5.30 pm in response to the invitation of Rtn. S.N. Nair, the then Vice President of Rotary Club Quilon and G.S.R of Kundara club to explore the possibility of forming a Rotary club at Kundara. In the meeting the members agreed with the decision of the Chairman Rtn. S. N. Nair to form a Provisional Rotary club, Rotarian T. K. Radhamonie as President. Thus the provisional club of Kundara started functioning with a strength of 25 members, meeting regularly at 7 pm on every Monday.

Rotary club of Kundara got its Charter when P. D. G. Rtn. Jambukesan was the District Governor (1980). On a Colourful function held at ALIND Auditorium on 17 August 1980, Rtn. Governor P. H. F. S Kumar presented the Official Charter to the Charter President Rtn. T. K. Radhamonie. Rtn. P.D.G. Peer Mohamed released the Official Flag of the Rotary club of Kundara.

With the efficient and the timely pediatric treatment by its Charter President Rtn. T. K. Radhamonie, this Baby Club, overcoming all the hurdles in its way, grew healthy and strong and became the Best Club in the Rotary District 3210 in 20 years.
